It’s going to rain this evening
walking in the night to my flat
in those clothes you’ll get wet I said
remembering the summer when there
was so much blue sky all the time
maybe two years ago.
in the dark some nights I wonder
where we’ll be in 10 yrs time
I want the wind and rain to be there
or not there so that in airports
we can show our affection
for Planet Earth like ‘wow’.
my mobile skips a beat and vibrates
you’re at the door you’re smiling
thru the glass the pane you’re smiling
it’s raining come in we’re wonderful
